Although Arizona is a desert state, it has plenty of excellent fishing waters. Arizona has over 1,500 miles of streams and 80 lakes that are managed for trout. It also has over 355,000 acres of lakes, reservoirs, and ponds and 35,840 acres of rivers that are managed for warm water fish. Arizona’s most popular sport fish are bluegill, catfish, crappie, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, striped bass, perch, pike, and walleye. |
