Fly fishing for redfish is one of the most exciting things I've ever done. With a new client I always tell them , welcome to the NFL, It normally doesn't take them long to understand why. I pole my 18' Hell's Bay thru the marsh in search of feeding redfish, once I spot the red I tell you where the red is using the clock as a reference, with the bow being 12'oclock, how far the red is from you and where to place the fly. I use a mylar spoon and popping bugs mostly. I'll take 2 anglers , with one fishing at a time, but sometimes we do get double hook-ups. I like for you to fish 20 minutes at a time then switch, I find in doing this keeps your legs from tiring. I leave the dock at daylight and fish to 2:30, then start home.
