Connecticut Island Outfitters fishes primarily in shallow water in the islands and adjoining flats off coastal Fairfiled County, CT.
Anglers may be poled across scenic flats in a shallow draft skiff, casting to fish in as little as a foot of water.Or casting into outgoing tidal rips that form over the reefs and bars connecting one island to another. Sight fishing and taking fish off the surface are common opportunities in shallow areas holding striped bass and bluefish.
Anglers can arrange a trip that best suits their interests and skill level, whether fly fishing, light tackle, or a little of each. And, a maximum of two anglers on board, ensures the best personal attention from your guide.
