| Trip Description: |
We offer fully outfitted trips for steelhead in the fall and spring by drift or jet boat. Most of our boats are set up for 2 fishermen with each guide, in addition we also have a custom 4 seat drift boat that can fish 3 or 4 fishermen. We also run tripsfrom our 25-30 foot jst boats. All of our jet pilots are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard, and all of our guides are licensed by the state of Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board. We also offer trips for spring Chinook by drift or jet as allowedby Fish and Game in April, May and June. We have guides that are competent in both fly and spin fishing so we can provide any sort of trip that you are interested in.
During the summer we offer fully outfitted trips through the Frank Church Wilderness Area by raft which gives us access to some of North Americas lst undiscovered trout habitat. We fish for Native Cutthrout, native and hatchery rainbows, as well as some huge bull trout. These trips are best in late summer and early September when the fish are gorging on big terrestrials in preperation for cold weather. Our raft trips include all rafting and camping equipment, as well as air charters from the Boise airport to begin the trip in Salmon, ID and back at the end of the trip. We do not provide fly fishing equipment,so you will have to pack your rod with you. We also run lodge option trips and you can shorten the length of the trip if you want to charter a flight out of the backcountry on the 4th or 5th day.
We also offer smallmouth and sturgeon combos on the Lower Salmon with sturgeon over 8 feet! Our bass are not huge but they are plentiful, and the scenery is spectacular. We offer these trips by jet boat for parties of 5 or more. We also offer 1/2 day bass fishing trips by drift boatnear Riggins for 2 fishermen with a fly or spin option.
