North Dakota is home to world-class fishing throughout the state. The Missouri River System has excellent fishing all through the state. Devil’s Lake is a great source for walleye and perch, Lake Sakakawea is filled with walleye and chinook salmon, and the Minnesota-North Dakota border’s Red River is a prime spot for catfish. Bass, bluegill, crappie,muskellunge, sauger, trout, and northern pike are found in waters throughout North Dakota. |
