Description: Spec Fever fishes the lower Neuse River and southern Pamlico Sound for a wide variety of gamefish, including giant red drum and tarpon. We also fish the Roanoke River striped bass spawning run each spring and false albacore (little tunny) every fall.

Trip Description:
Spec Fever is run by Captain Gary Dubiel, an IGFA fly rod world record holder, Regional Editor of "Shallow Water Angler", outdoor writer, and host to outdoor TV shows and the Bob Clouser fly fishing school. We offer fly rod and light tackle full and half day trips for a variety of game fish. Our season starts in march and runs into January and includes seatrout and redfish, tarpon, striped bass and giant red drum chartes. You won't be dissapoint in the beauty of the lower Neuse River and Pamlico Sound or the village of Oriental. Join us fo a great day of fishing!

  Full day, shallow water  $400
  Half day, shallow water  $250
  Full day, Roanoke River  $500
  Full day, Harkers Island  $500
  Call or email reservations for the date of your choice. A $100 deposit is requireds to hold that date. The deposit is refundable with 30 days advanced notice or if the trip is cancelled by the Captain.
