Nestled right between Lake Superior, to the north, and Lake Michigan, to the east, Wisconsin has some spectacular freshwater fishing opportunities. The Great Lakes are home to crappie, bluegill, bullhead, muskie, pike, perch, sturgeon, walleye, and all kinds of small and largemouth bass, while trout and salmon fill up streams everywhere in between. During the winter months bluegill and yellow perch are the big catches on the ice. Wisconsin has a plethora of options for the freshwater fisherman. |
